Founded in 2004, the ASET Foundation is incorporated in the State of Missouri. It serves as the philanthropic arm of ASET – The Neurodiagnostic Society. In 2006, ASET transferred the assets, fiscal management, and control in accordance with established procedures of its ASET Scholarship Fund, John Knott Educational Lecture Fund, John Archibald Student Scholarship Fund, and Kathleen Mears Memorial Endowment Fund to the Foundation.
The ASET Foundation supports educational initiatives, programs, and special projects designed to advance and support excellence in quality patient care by providing resources to neurodiagnostic students and professionals to enhance knowledge, understanding, and skills in the field. Please consider making a donation to one or more of the Foundation’s programs. Your generous contributions will make a difference in our ability to expand educational and scholarship opportunities and to support special projects or activities for the neurodiagnostic profession. The Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, comprised of no more than nine members, of whom one shall be a physician, one shall be a public member, and four or more shall be from the past or present ASET Board of Trustees. All candidates to the Foundation Board of Directors are elected from among contributors to the Foundation.
The ASET Foundation is classified under the Internal Revenue Service Code as a 501(c)3 public charity. All donations and contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible from your income in the year they are donated.
