ASET – The Neurodiagnostic Society has, for a long time, aspired to supporting education for the global neurodiagnostic community. The ASET Foundation is pleased to collaborate with ASET to make the first international educational scholarship available. The seed fund for this scholarship was generously gifted to the ASET Foundation by the regional New York Neurodiagnostic Society upon dissolving their organization.
The “ASET Emerging Member International On-Line Course Scholarship” is now available to provide free enrollment in one of ASET’s basic on-line EEG courses. Only ASET’s Emerging International Members are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Eligibility requirements to apply for this scholarship include:
- Must be an ASET International Emerging member for a minimum of 6 months in good standing.
- Applicants are only eligible to receive the award once every three consecutive year period.
- Preference for Emerging member to have been in the neurodiagnostic field for a minimum of one year.
- A letter of reference from applicant’s employer to confirm length of employment must be uploaded with the on-line application form.
- Courses are in English and include written material and some video presentations. Access to reliable internet or WiFi will be essential.
This scholarship will award free enrollment in one of ASET’s basic EEG on-line courses. Applicants will select the course of their choice when completing the application form. The scholarship is awarded twice a year with a June 30th and December 31st deadline for submission. All applicants who meet the eligibility criteria will be included in the selection process which will be conducted via a random drawing.
